Misuse
Certificates and marks have a defined use.
A QRE Cert certificate and certification mark may be used only by the named organisation, for the stated scope, while the certificate is valid on Search.
What counts as misuse
- Showing a certificate after it has expired, been suspended, or withdrawn
- Claiming sites, products, or activities that are not in the scope
- Altering the certificate file or number
- Using the mark on a product as if it were a product approval
- Implying QRE Cert endorses a person or a specific good
How to report
Send the certificate number if known, a link or photo, and where you saw the claim to qre.cert@gmail.com. You do not need to give your name. We do not publish complainants.
What we do
We check the public register, ask the holder for a correction if needed, and may suspend or withdraw the certificate. Confirmed cases can be noted on Search. False certificates are treated as misuse even if they look similar to ours.
