Environmental management

ISO 14001

Environmental Management System (EMS) certification for organisations that control environmental aspects at named sites.

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is the international standard for an Environmental Management System (EMS). Certification covers how the organisation identifies environmental aspects, meets compliance obligations, and manages operational controls at the sites in scope.

The certificate lists activities and locations assessed under the EMS. Auditors sample the environmental aspects register, legal/compliance obligations, operational controls, emergency preparedness, and monitoring records.

Surveillance follows a three-year cycle unless the contract states otherwise. Activities left off the written scope are not certified.
